As much as I enjoyed looking at the bare plywood on my bathroom floor for weeks, I'm going for a bit more class in my new bathroom. That being said, the new tiles installation on my floor is really bringing things together. It's also giving me hope that the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the grand re-opening of my bathroom is not too far away.
In retrospect, I didn't realize how much I disliked my old tiles. Time for a change.
Getting plywood in place. Gotta have proper support for my new fixtures!
I'm pretty sure mustard yellow is not an 'in' color right now. Only a temporary situation though.
New floor has been laid and I realize my dislike for my previous tiles has been understated
Tub is out and tiles will be next. A final goodbye. We've shared some good times old friend.
....and also need proper protection from moisture. So in goes the greenboard
And the unsightly water protection will keep my downstairs neighbors from any unwelcome surprises
