The Dream
Goal: Mr. Coco Puff desire's his own comfort station....preferable not anywhere near mine!
Goal: Easily accessible bike in a easily accessible storage closet. Operative word "easily".
The Reality
Mr. Coco Puff is going to get his own private entrance to a custom closet with his litter box with a extraction fan...to keep the air nice in fresh! He is very fastidious about cleanliness, too.
Storage in New York is always a priority! In all my design experience, I have never had a client claim that I have given them too much storage space. In my case, I have reviewed and rethought the endless possibilities of how to store a 66" long x 40" high bike! On the ceiling, on a wall rack....none of these are "easily" accessible. So a custom closet dedicated to my bike with lots of storage above. In order to accomplish this feat, a couple of walls will be removed and the guest bedroom will become about 2'-0", smaller. A small price to pay...for having my living room back and the pleasure to take a relaxing spin in Central Park, at anytime.
