When the walls came down, unfortunately 4 existing pipes were discovered. "Can they be removed ?" I pleaded to my contractor. He responded, "Only if youchoose not to have hot/cold water, waste removal and a fresh air vent." After 5 seconds of deliberation, maybe less, these priceless modern conveniences out weighed my recessed medicine cabinets.
Large Pipes are waste and Two skinny pipes are hot/cold fresh air vent. water.
This is the ideal layout with generous medicine cabinets. However, being a creative soul...a new solution will be forth-coming.
Week 1: Unfortunate Site Condition
Existing ceiling about to fall down. Wood lathe is rotten, water damage is extensive. Literally the neighbor's tub and floor was about to find residence in my apartment.
